PA Wellington Changes by the Development Finance Corporation will lead to increased profitability and a successful public share issue, the chairman, Mr Malcolm McConnell, predicts in the annual report He says in the report, tabled in Parliament yesterday, that the board supports the Government’s proporal to review the legislation governing the DFC. The DFC will change from a statutory corporation to a limited liability company, able to raise capita! through issues on the Stock Exchange. The corporation has already announced a record net profit of $17.9M for the year ended March 31, a 59 per cent increase on the 1985 profit of $11.3M. Net income was $48.5M ($19.9M),
