Euthanasia backed
PA Wellington Young Nationals in the Wellington suburb of Miramar have supported euthanasia as an option for terminally ill people. The position was endorsed by. a branch vote, 80 per cent in favour. “It was considered cruelty to prolong unnecessarily the horribly painful and pointless life of a terminally ill person when there was no hope of a cure,” they said.
