Delta production
Delta Gold nl has joined the ranks of Australian gold producers with the start of full scale production at its Ballarat-Last Chance mine near Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The company expects the mine to yield 10,000 ounces of gold in its first year. The mine is operated in a joint venture with Pancontinental Mining, Ltd, which is the senior partner with 67.5 per cent with Delta holding the remaining 32.5 per cent.
