Peat bog discoveries
Sir, —I would subscribe to the theory of A. Saunders (August 27) that the peat bog man was sacrificed to the mother goddess Danu. I am a Doncastrian. There is an hotel in the High Street called The Danum, and sonamed after the area. I understand this hotel has been rebuilt several times on the site. Doncaster is a very old town. — Yours, etc.,
