Stones thrown at cars, two injured

A person throwing stones near Burnham damaged at least four cars and sent two drivers to hospital in the last two days.

glass in his eye when his windscreen was broken. Windows in at least two others cars were broken by stones and one had its radiator punctured. The police yesterday were appealing for any information from other drivers who had stones thrown at them or suffered broken windscreens in the Rolleston area.
