Housing finance worries women
PA Wellington Women are concerned about their access to housing and housing finance, a survey started by the Housing Corporation has found. The three-month national survey, which began in July and was aimed at women, had received a good response, said the department’s assistant director of policy and research, Ms Alison Wainscott.
The survey was initiated as part of the corporation’s response to the United Nations Decade for Women. Most responses have come from individual women but the corporation was still expecting submissions from a number of women’s groups before the deadline of September 15. Ms Wainscott said late submissions would be accepted until October 15.
