VICTORIA UNIVERSITY OF WELLINGTON in collaboration with THE ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR ADVISORY COUNCIL HALF-TIME LECTURESHIP IN PRIMARY HEALTH CARE THE University Council Invites applications tor a halftone Lectureship In Primary Health Care funded by the Alcoholic Liquor Advisory Council. The appointment will be made on a fixed term contract for three years in the first Instance, renewable. The successful applicant will be appointed to the Department of Nursing Studies in the Faculty of Arts. Applicants should be nurses, or members of another health prof sslon, with a first degree in a relevant discipline and at least three years post-graduate experience in the prevention and treatment of alcohol related disorders. The possession of a higher degree In nursing or a related subject would be a distinct advantage. Other candidates with extensive relevant experience are also encouraged to apply. The appointee will be expected to teach at any or all levels in the Bachelor of Nursing programme, according to his or her qualifications and experience, and the needs of the Department, and to continue his or her personal development as a specialist in the area of preventing or treating alcohol related problems. The appointee will be required to commence as soon as possible. The salary scale for fulltime lecturers Is $30,500 to $35,000 per annum.
