Laden truck stolen
A truck laden with waterbeds and other furniture was stolen from outside the Sydenham premises of a transport company on Saturday evening.
It was found about 2 a.m. yesterday on the side of the road near Kaituna Valley, between Christ-
church and Little River. The truck had been set on fire, but damage was confined to the cab, said a spokesman for the Christchurch police. The vehicle was taken from outside the yard of Child Freighters, Ltd, in Chrlyle Street, Sydenham.
