Victim struck after crash
The body of a Foxton man killed in a motorcycle accident on Saturday evening, was struck by another vehicle later. The victim was
Paul Tito, aged 22, who died in a motor-cycle crash Bkm north of Foxton on State highway' 1, about 7.50 p.m.
Constable Mark Harrison said a southbound vehicle passing the scene soon after hit the motor-
cycle and then a vehicle parked on the roadside.
Another passing car struck Mr Tito’s body and continued on.
Constable Harrison believed that the occupants of the latter vehicle were not aware that they had hit anything. "We are pretty sure he was killed instantly,” said Constable Harris. “But we don’t know exactly how it happened.”
