Southpac rise
The chairman of Southpac, Sir Frank Holmes, has announced the results of the Merchant Bank for the six months ended June 30. Profit before taxation was $10,053,000, compared with $5,209,000 for the corresponding period last year, while profit after taxation was $6,032,000, compared with $3,490,000 for the same period last year.
