Titles stay with Fisher, Green
Joanne Fisher (Springs) and Terry Green (North Can■terbury) retained their titles in the 1986 Country table tennis championships held at the Canterbury Table Tennis Stadium, Christchurch. The Canterbury representative, Joanne Fisher, was too strong for her opponents with her hard hitting. Green was lucky to reach the final after a close game with F. Kelly (Springs) in the semi-final, winning 23-21, in the third set.
