Man shot with arrow
PA Auckland A man, aged 23, was last evening arrested and charged with murder after a man was shot in the stomach with an arrow fired from a crossbow. The victim was Mark Anthony Edwardson, aged 29, of Mangere, who died in
Middlemore Hospital. The police were called to the Vine Street address of Mr Edwardson at 4.30 p.m. and found a crossbow and several arrows.
The accused would appear in the District Court at Otahuhu today, the police said.
