Bill Direen is back this week in yet another guise. His latest national tour, with Wellington double bass player Barry Stockley, stops off at the State Trinity Centre on Friday evening. Direen has plenty of new material and a fifth album in mind.
His quirky track record has taken another turn — this Students’ Arts Council- aided tour is entitled “Acoustically Speaking.”
