Achievement trophy
Christopher Mclntyre, age 17, of Christchurch (centre), receives the Post Office Savings Bank Achievement Trophy for patients at the Burwood Hospital Spinal Unit. Presenting the trophy is the bank’s district sales manager, Mr James Morrison, while the assistant director of the unit, Mr Allan Bean, looks on. The| trophy has recently been made avail-
able by the bank, to be presented every two or three months to any patient making particularly good personal effort in any field. Mr Mclntyre, the first recipient, was chosen for his fine woodturning, after never Saving worked a lathe before.
