Prince leaves tomorrow
NZPA London Prince Edward will leave for New Zealand tomorrow night and will meet the Prime Minister, Mr Lange, as well as visit Wanganui Collegiate School. The Prince has just completed a degree at Cambridge, where he studied after two terms as a teacher at Wanganui Collegiate.
He will spend 10 days in New Zealand as chairman of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award thirtieth anniversary tribute project, set up this year to make the public more aware of the scheme. Prince Edward is due back in Britain three days before Prince Andrew marries Miss Sarah Ferguson. He will be his brother’s best man.
