Packer appoints director
NZPA-AAP Sydney The Consolidated Press Holdings, Ltd, chairman, Mr Kerry Packer, yesterday announced that Mr Trevor Kennedy had been appointed managing director of the company. Mr Packer previously held the positions of chairman and managing director.
Mr Packer, who will return from London this week, will remain executive chairman of the group.
Mr Kennedy was previously Editor-In-Chief of the group’s publishing activities.
