Oil benefit to kiwifruit
PA Tauranga Falling world oil prices could benefit export kiwifruit growers at least 20c a tray this season, according to the export manager of Wrightson Horticulture, Ltd, Mr John Long. Chartered-vessel freight rates had been readjusted and, so far, a saving of 20c a tray had resulted, he said in Auckland.
