Eminent persons
Sir,—For some time now we have been hearing of the actions and opinions of the seven eminent persons, but I, and I am sure most people, have heard the names of only two, Mr R. Gandhi and the leader, Mr Malcolm Fraser. Would you please tell me the names of the other five, and the reason why they have not been named before?—Yours, etc. L. R. WILKINSON. June 10, 1986. [Members of the group are Mr Malcolm Fraser (Australia) and Lieutenant-General Olusegin
Odasanjo (Nigeria), co-chairmen; Lord Barker of Wentbridge and Dame Nita Barrow (United Kingdom); Mr John Malecela (Tanzania); Sardar Swaran Singh (India); Archbishop Edward Scott (Canada). — "The Press,” December 4, 1985.]
