PA Wellington Parliament resumed under urgency at 9 a.m. yesterday when members continued debate on the committee stages of the Local Authorities (Elections, Polls and Voting Rights) Bill. The bill passed the committee stages and was split into three bills: the Local Government Amendment Bill (No. 4), the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Bill, and the Local Elections and Polls Amendment Bill. Members then began debating the third readings of the three bills. The three bills were given a third reading. Members then began debating the committee stages of the Local Government
