Museum visiting record
Record visitors passed through the Canterbury Museum during International Museum Day last Sunday. The museum’s automatic counter recorded 3694 visitors, although some staff members estimate that the total was nearer 5000 because small children are not tall enough to break the counter’s electronic beam.
