Golf position filled
Weedons has a new resident professional. Steven Charles has been appointed to the golf position to replace Wayne Macintosh, who, after nearly three years with the club, has relinquished the post because of business commitments.
The youthful Charles, who developed his golf at Hororata, intends to devote considerable time to coaching and many of a promising crop of juniors at Weedons have already received guidance from him.
