Maori-speaking priests
Sir, — Congratulations to Barry Jones (April 17), on his marvellous cutting of Mr Helm’s letter down to size. Having dragged in a marvellous golden egg-laying goose, perhaps Mr Helm will now tell us how a simple Italian phrase, “to keep
the foot in two stirrups,” is normally expressed in English. — Yours, etc., KENNETH SCHOLLAR. April 22, 1986. -
