Apple in US up
Apple Computer in Cupertino, California, has announced a fourth consecutive record-breaking quarter. In the second quarter of the financial year ending on March 28 Apple had a net income of SUS3I.BM compared with a net income of SUS9.9M for the second quarter of the 1985 financial year. The latest results have taken the net income for the first six months of the 1986 financial year to SUSBB.7M, a 58 per cent increase on the SUSS6M net income for the first six months of the 1985 financial year. Apple has now earned more in the six months ending on March 28 than for the entire 1985 financial year.
