Trip appeal upheld
PA Auckland Four trampolinists from Canterbury and one from Nelson who seemed likely to miss a chance to compete in the world championships in Paris in October have won a reprieve. The New Zealand Trampolining Association cancelled the trip when the three men h
and two women did not pay travel deposits. The association’s president Bob Ashbridge said an appeal heard last evening against the decision had been allowed. "They will be able to compete, provided they meet the financial obligations set out by the team manager,” he said.
