Top five at golf helm
Canterbury’s five players for the Stylemaster national inter-provin-cial women’s golf tournament in Taupo next month will head the provincial team of 12 against Mid-South Canterbury in the annual match for the Templer Trophy at Ashburton on Sunday.
The team, in playing order, is:— Liz Douglas, Adrienne Bond, Jeanette Ross, Dianne Woodhouse, Mary Sparrow, Rachel Buxton, Diana Bristol, Jane Reese, Maryanne Stemmer, Sharon Bilton, Lynn Shaskey, Kerrin Starr. Reserve: Susan Barrett. Annette King and Chris Skinner were not available.
