Basketball double to Canterbury

PA Wellington Converse Canterbury cleanly scalped a staid Altos Auckland 122-91 on Saturday night to complete a satisfying double in the Countrywide Basketball League.

The Clyde Huntley-led team beat the league champions, Exchequer Saints 101-90 the previous Saturday and thus have accounted for last year’s finalists in its opening two league fixtures.
