Talks ‘progressing’
Conciliation talks in Christchurch on the Tramway Workers’ Union award are progressing satisfactorily, according to the conciliator, Mr Brian Gray. He has adjourned the talks until Monday, April
28, at Ibis House in Christchurch. Mr Gray and union officials were unwilling to comment about the talks. “The Press” was unable to reach an employers’ advocate last evening.
