Chamberlain inquiry
NZPA-AAP Darwin The inquiry into the conviction of Lindy Chamberlain on a charge of murder will begin with a preliminary hearing in Darwin on May 8. Public notices were placed in newspapers on Thursday calling for persons who considered they
had relevant information to approach the secretary of the Commission of Inquiry. The first hearing will receive applications for leave to appear, fix a date for subsequent hearings, and deal with matters of procedure.
