Third man remanded
PA Gisborne The third man arrested after a big police search in the Ruatoria area was remanded in custody to< March 5 when he appeared before a Justice of the Peace in the District Court at Gisborne yesterday. Cody Haua, aged 27, unemployed, was charged with unlawfully detaining a Gisborne detective-ser-geant. Haua also faced two charges of receiving a police radio and a gas discharger. No pleas was taken.
He was arrested on Monday night after giving himself up at his mother’s home in Ruatoria.
