MANAGER, PUBLICITY SERVICE (Vacancy No. 1898) The appointee will be responsible for managing the Department’s commercial public relations and publicity services. The Service comprises a range of publicity, press, editorial, photographic, art, display and audio-visual operations provided primarily to public sector clients. They include the services currently provided by the National Publicity Studios and the Information and Publicity Services Division. The appointee should have sound management experience, preferably in a commercial environment, together with broad knowledge of the public relations and publicity fields. DIRECTOR, PUBLICITY ADVISORY UNIT (Vacancy No. 1899) The Director will be responsible for formulating advice to Government and Government Departments on their Information and publicity policies and on the achievement of particular Information and publicity objectives. The Director will be responsible for a small unit able to provide guidance to public sector agencies on the effective performance of their Information and publicity programmes. The appointee should have a strong record of performance, and/or understanding of, the public relations, Information and advertising fields. DIRECTOR, MEDIA AND INFORMATION SERVICES (Vacancy No. 1900) The Director is responsible to the Manager, Publicity Services for the efficient and effective management of media, publicity and editorial support services provided to Departments. The appointee should have sound management experience, a good knowledge of government administration, and proven performance In press and media relations.
