The successful applicant will be appointed as an Engineer or Senior Engineer (dependent upon qualifications and experience) with the TurboGenerator Section engaged on design and contract management work for thermal and geothermal power stations. Applicants will need to demonstrate the technical and communications skills necessary to participate in the following: Conceptual design of plant and plant layouts, development of work programmes, preparation of capital estimates, preparation of plant specifications, tender adjudication, contract management. Registration as an Engineer or professional qualifications appropriate for registration are desirable. Normal Public Service conditions of employment apply.
