Granny becomes a stripper

NZPA-AP London A great-grandmother, Lil Kiley, got bored with the card games and tea parties at the local senior citizens’ centre and so she decided to pep things up and become a stripper. The former hotel manager’s latest one-woman show was at a senior citizens’ St Valentine’s disco dance near her home in the London suburb of Wallington. “I’ve never seen the men so enthusiastic,” she said “I only do it for a bit of a laugh — I’ve always? beeryone for a bit of fun.” J

Mrs Kiley, aged 76, who has nine grandchildren and four great-grand-children, made her debut at the senior citizens’ Christmas party — first shedding her evening gown and fur stole, then a red baby-doll nightie, and finally her undies. “My show is very definitely for local eyes only — besides which, with my appearances at the pensioners’ club, attending the hospital outpatients department for treatment of my rheumatism, going to bingo and collecting my : pension, I haven’t got any time,” she said.
