China gets own Cola drink
NZPA-AP PEKING A new domestically produced health drink that tastes similar to Coca-Cola has gone on sale, according to an official newspaper. The “Peking Evening News” (Beijing Wanbao) said the drink was produced by the Hangzhou City Limin pharmeceutical factory in Zhejiang province and the Shanghai Chinese Medicine Institute.
The drink, called “China Cola,” was made preciselywith a recipe concocted by specialists using ingredients of Chinese medicine and plants and its flavour was similar to Coca-Cola.
