Media buffs will be given a chance to extend their knowledge of a Christchurch Polytechnic course next month. “Reading New Zealand Film and Television” will view and discuss hit films, TV serials,, news and documentaries, advertisements and “alternative video and film.” The class will also be introduced to recent directions in film theory. The course will run on Wednesday evenings, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., starting on March 12,
