NZPA-Reuter London England’s five-Test cricket series against the West Indies to begin in Kingston, Jamaica, tomorrow, will not be seen on British television. A joint statement from the 8.8. C. and the independent I.T.V. network
said that they had failed, to reach agreement with the West Indies Board of Control. The two companies were asked to pay £14,500 ($38,000) for access to the Tests and four one-day internationals, a sum they said was “totally unacceptable.”
