Canon sales up
CanonN incorporated, a major Japanese camera maker, said sales and profits in the business year ended December 31, rose 18.6 per cent and 9.8 per cent respectively, over the previous year. Sales in the year totalled 575.37 billion yen ($NZ5.988) and before-tax profits came to 42.53 billion yen (JNZ442M), a company spokesman said.
