Nomad II takes yachting honours
The second division yacht Nomad II skippered by David Florence, had great success in last weekend’s Banks Peninsula Cruising Club’s Lyttelton to Port Levy return, race. Florence took over-all handicap honours in the fleet race on Saturday, and captured line and handicap honours, in the return race to Lyttelton, in the second division on Sunday. Results.— Fleet Race (Saturday), over-all handicap: Nomad II (D. Florence) 1; Truce (D. Kett) 2; Rock-A-Bye (S. Rose, N. Cross) 3. First division, line honours: Archon (A. and W. Archer) Handicap: Rock-A-Bye 1; Archon 2; Vamoos (J. Dyksma) 3.
Second division:
ours: Cadence (B. and J. Edwards.) Handicap: Nomad II 1; Truce 2; Cadence 3. Trailer yachts: Coquette (W. Lewis) line and handicap honours.
Cruising division, line honours: Allda (D. Brown.) Handicap: Conorza (F. Robinson) 1; Juanita II (P. King) 2; Fair Light (K. Watson) 3.
