Japanese getting taller
NZPA-Reuter Tokyo The Japanese are getting taller, with most of the growth in their legs, the Education Ministry has reported. According to data on 700,000 children aged six to 17, boys of 17 are 5.2 cm taller than their counterparts of 25 years ago. Of that increase, 4.2 cm has been in the legs. The Ministry said girls, aged 17, were 3.9 cm with legs accounting W>r almost all their growth?* 7
