Shadow completes leg
PA Auckland The Shadow of Switzerland yesterday completed the second leg of the round-the-world yacht race from Cape Town. The 17-metre yacht, which took 41 days and 13 hours to reach Auckland, was thirteenth of 15 yachts to finish. The Shadow of Switzerland crawled into a calm Auckland. At one point she sat still on the Waitemata harbour for six hours. The yacht’s 11 crew members are from nine countries.
