The Card Creek-1 well near Greymouth was at a depth of 661 m at 6 a.m. yesterday, Petrocorp said. Drilling is continuing. New IBM model Rumours abound that IBM will release a lap (portable) personal computer next week, its hand forced by an imminent Inland Revenue Service contract. The machine is believed to have a 250 K RAM memory, two internal B.9cm disk drives and a modem for communicating by telephone line. Merger Dunedin’s two largest fitness centres, Les Mills World of Fitness and The Fitness Centre, have merged. The listed company Les Mills World of Fitness Ltd has acquired 100 per cent of the shareholding of Professional Fitness Ltd which operates The Fitness Centre, the Stock Exchange was told. The two Dunedin centres will merge in Les Mills’ Dowling St site when expansion and renovation is completed next month.
