Hurley top golf seed
The Waimairi Beach lefthander, Richard , Hurley, will be at No. 1 for the Canterbury junior golf team which will contest the South Island under-21 tournament at Alexandra on February 1 and 2.
Hurley and the No. 2, Jason Sincock (Avondale), are the only two survivors from the Canterbury sixman team which finished third last year.
The team, in playing order, is: Hurley, Sincock, Mark Tamuta, Warwick Sherwood, Brett Tucker and John Hazeldine. Reserves: Andrew Barkle (captain), Andrew Carver. Manager: Mr A. Chambers. Tamuta, the Canterbury under-21 champion, is the only member of the team not to have played in the Woodward Cup premier inter-club competition.
