Clothing sizes
Sir, — I would like to add another dimension to the problem of clothing sizes. A size 10 not overly endowed with height, yet not minuscule, I find almost all fashion clothing severaal inches too long. Many of my average sized friends who are in the 12 to 14 range that I must agree is “more than adequately catered for” in New Zealand have the same trouble. Why is it that manufacturers seem to believe women are all tall and slender? They should be aware that not everyone is built like a model — though she may want to be. — Yours, etc., MORAG GODFREY.
