NZI company takes Marac off the boards
PA Wellington Marac Holdings, Ltd, was delisted from the Stock Exchange yesterday after the virtually complete takeover of the financier by NZI Financial Corporation, Ltd. In a statement to the exchange, Marac said the company would remain listed in respect of its debenture stock. Meanwhile, the Corporate Affairs Commission in Perth has granted another
NZI Corporation subsidiary, NZI Finance Australia Pty, Ltd, an extension to FebruSl3 to make its proposed eover offers to shareholders in Broadlands, Ltd, of Perth.
This was announced by. NZl’s managing director,’ Mr D. N. Chalmers. NZI said in November that it intended through a wholly-owned subsidiary to make formal take-over offers to all the Broadlands ordinary shareholders.
