Shearing event to R. Pivac
PA Invercargill Ricky Pivac, of Carterton, was a clear winner in the open section of the New Zealand crossbred full-wool shearing championships held at Mossburn. He won 51000 cash and a trophy. It was the fifth year the event has been held. Points from this championship contribute to the South Island shearer of the year final which will be decided at Gore next month. Results.— Open: R.
