Credentials presented
PA Auckland The new United States Ambassador to New Zealand, Mr Paul Cleveland, yesterday presented his credentials to the GovernorGeneral, Sir Paul Reeves, in a brief ceremony at Government House, Auckland. His credentials included a letter from the United States President, Mr
Reagan, verifying the appointment. Mr Cleveland, who arrived in New Zealand on Wednesday to replace Mr H. Monroe Brown, is expected to meet the Prime Minister, Mr Lange, early next week. Mr Cleveland returned to Wellington after the ceremony to be briefed by staff on United States-New Zealand relations.
