Kodak assurance on N.Z. jobs
PA Wellington Withdrawal of Kodak from the instant photography business would not cause job losses among the company’s employees in New Zealand, said a spokesman at Kodak New Zealand’s headquarters in Auckland. Eastman Kodak Company in the United States has lost a bid to block a court order
that will force the photographic giant out of the instant photography business from today. The company planned to stop all production and marketing of instant film and cameras said an Eastman Kodak spokesman, Mr Hank Kaska, yesterday in the United States. Overseas report, page 6.
