Drummer does his bit

NZPA-AFP Swansea A top British rock star is doing his bit to help the ailing soccer club, Swansea City. Terry Williams, the drummer with the band Dire Straits, has donated a platinum long player record of the group’s hit “Brothers In Arms” to help save third division Swansea from ex-

tinction. Williams, who lives in the uplands area of Swansea, has been a life-long supporter of the club. He said: “I just wanted to do my bit to help them out.” The platinum LP was awarded to mark the sale of a million copies of the hit record in the United States. It will now be raffled.
