Profits up
The food manufacturing group, Allied Mills, Ltd, had "substantially improved” trading profits for the first three months of the financial year, according to the chairman, Mr Stan Small. Addressing the company’s annual meeting, Mr Small said as the company was the subject of take-over offers he was prevented by law from making any statements which could be construed as a forecast of profitswithout the consent of the .National Companies and Securities Commission.
