Rattray acting captain
Peter Rattray will captain the Canterbury second
XI cricket team in the three-day match against Otago B which starts at Hagley Oval on Sunday. The appointed captain, Bob Carter, will miss the opening fixture because of his duties with the Canter-
bury under-18 side Palmerston North.
Carter’s absence and the withdrawal of Richard Leggat has left the squad with 11 players. Andrew Hintz, the young Bumside-West opening bowler, has been chosen for twelfth man duties against Otago B.
