Wider Olympic scope
PA Wellington The International Olympic Committee is working on changes to the rules which would allow professionals to compete in the Olympic Games. Last evening, the executive meeting of the New Zealand Olympic and Commonwealth
Games Association in Wellington was given clear indications along that line by its president, Sir Lance Cross, who has recently returned from International Olympic Committee meetings. The 1.0. C. is working on a new. athlete’s code to replace rule 26 covering amateur eligibility.
